WELCOME TO SimSIC - Simulations in Swedish Innovative Care
The background to SimSICs work is the great need for development and improvements that exist in Swedish health care.
Health care simulation models can answer questions about how seemingly complex or insoluble problems can be handled in different situations by testing different action proposals, in a computerized model. In such a prototype of a health care system, the consequences of different choices can be tested dynamically, partly by the management for system-wide learning and partly by the staff who work in health care to understand their own process and what changes are optimal to introduce in reality.
SimSICs long-term strategy is to build a network of principals and health care leaders who use modelling - simulation as an important new tool in their business. |
